Dar es Salaam

DAR ES SALAAM:

Abdul is a really nice guy, he showed me the surroundings, teached me some swahili basics, but I don't think I could pronounce it good. H e also showed me the culture, it's really different from my country but people here are so nice.
I'm heading to Arusha... hope my host are as nice as Abdul.
Gonna miss him, we had a nice time.
I'm really excited to start the classes...

My gap year in Tanzania

When I first arrived to Tanzania it was weird, the climate, the smells, it's really hot in here, but it isn't really different from my country. Yes, people aren't the same, yes, they do not speak the same language that I, but I don't know I don't feel as if I was away, I don't feel the distance from my home.
I'm staying at my host house's with a roommate, he is also a volunteer, he is from Great Britain, we start classes tomorrow... I'm so nervous!!
My host made us some Ugali, he said it's the national dish of Tanzania... It's delicious!!
